- Please note: Graduates report to the Drayson Center no later than 12:00 p.m.
Nutrition & Dietetics Pinning Ceremony:

Frequently Asked Questions for Guests
Can I decorate my mortarboards for Commencement or the Hooding Ceremony?
Decorating your mortarboard for commencement events is not permitted. Students with decorated mortarboards will, unfortunately, be unable to participate in commencement or the hooding ceremony.
Are there tickets for the hooding ceremony?
Tickets are not physical, and graduates will check in when they arrive at the ceremony and provide their information.
Can I wear any stole to commencement events?
No. Only Loma Linda University-approved stoles are allowed for any commencement activities and events.

Restaurants and Hotel Reservations
We recommend making reservations in advance for any local restaurants and hotels for the weekend.
Are confetti and noisemakers permitted?
Since the commencement ceremony will be held indoors at the Drayson Center, confetti and noisemakers of any kind are not permitted.
Flowers and Leis
Flowers and flower leis are welcome at our commencement ceremony; no food leis at our commencement ceremony; no flower leis (no exceptions) at the baccalaureate ceremony.
Guest Seating at Commencement
Commencement is a special event for both graduates and their friends and families. Seating is open and on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Drayson Center.
Special Accomodations
For those attending the Conferring of Degrees on Sunday, May 24, 2026, ADA parking will be available at the following location: the School of Dentistry parking lot on University Court.
For those attending the Conferring of Degrees on Friday, June 12, 2026, or Sunday, June 14, 2026, ADA parking will be available at designated areas for that day.
Please be sure to display your blue placard when accessing ADA parking areas.
