The 8th International Congress on Vegetarian Nutrition invites researchers, clinicians, dietitians, public health professionals, and students from around the world to submit abstracts for presentation at the Congress, March 14–16, 2027, at Loma Linda University.

Under the theme “Nourishing the Future: The Science and Practice of Plant-Based Eating,” the Congress will highlight emerging research and practical applications across vegetarian and plant-based nutrition, including healthy aging and longevity, chronic disease prevention and management, precision nutrition, foundational plant foods, protein and nutritional adequacy, food systems and sustainability, planetary health, and translating evidence into practice.

We welcome original research, systematic reviews, and other scholarly contributions that advance understanding of vegetarian and plant-based nutrition and its implications for human and planetary health.

All accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to be shared through a virtual poster session, providing a platform for both in-person and virtual attendees to present their work and engage with the Congress community. In addition, in-person attendees may request consideration for a short oral presentation as part of designated oral abstract sessions.

Abstract submission deadlines, categories, format requirements, and submission instructions will be announced soon.
