If you have an idea for a feature or would like to contribute a story please email with Public Health Story in the subject line. If possible, attach at leastone writing or blog sample. No academic/research papers, please. We will get back to you within a week of your submission.  In the interest of furthering the communication philosophy and mission of the Loma Linda University School of Public Health, the blog seeks to address local and global issues through individual stories and perspectives. By posting personal accounts from individuals that are both honest and inclusive, LLUSPH hopes to engage the community, begin discussions that need discussing and spread positive public health messages.

Content should be truthful, inclusive and come from an individual’s point of view. In our experience, the more personal the story the more impact potential it has. People strive for connection and sharing our humanity is one of the best ways to connect. Content should be related to public health either topically, experientially, professionally, or scholastically.

SPH.Community is for anyone who is interested in public health, people and community. hopes to highlight stories of students, professionals, alumni, staff, faculty and friends of the Loma Linda University School of Public Health. Thus our audience is broad and diverse. For this reason the language, style and format of each story should be mindful of readers with no formal public health training.
