Launched in 2012, the SPH Writing Center exists to help students develop the writing skills they need to succeed both academically and professionally. Though some public health disciplines require more writing than others, at some point every MPH student will be expected to produce needs assessments, field practicum reports, abstracts, and literature reviews to prove their mastery of the curriculum. While this may be daunting, it needn’t be paralyzing, and with the help and resources available at the Writing Center you will learn how to build on your existing strengths to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
