Quotations from recipients of services from our programs:

David:

In a remote rural county such as Inyo, the services that have been provided by Loma Linda University’s Office of Public Health Practice and Workforce Development have had a tremendous impact. Receiving onsite training on a variety of environmental health issues has not only provided valuable information to our staff, but has allowed for certain professionals, mainly public health nurses, to readily obtain needed CEU's so that they may continue their professional registrations. For us to travel to trainings typically held throughout the State usually requires two full travel days (and nights), which is both a financial burden and takes us away from our duties for extended periods of time. The trainings provided by Dr. Dyjack and associates have been both informative and interesting. The enthusiasm and morale boost provided the attendee’s is apparent. I look forward to working with your group in the future.

Sincerely,
Marvin Moskowitz
Director
Inyo County Environmental Health Services

“Dr. Dyjack and [Loma Linda University’s Office of Public Health Practice] provided an incredibly informative presentation to the constituents of the California State University system. He addressed a group of professionals that represented Risk Management, Emergency Response, Human Resources, Workers Compensation, Environmental, Health and Safety. In my opinion the subject of Risk Communication was by far the most needed information at our conference and it was presented articulately, comprehensively, and with a sense of humor. We are very appreciative of LLU’s efforts at outreach and education.”

"The training and support from Loma Linda University has proved to be an invaluable resource for the Hawaii Environmental Health Association and the State of Hawaii Department of Health's environmental health professional. The staff has shown tremendous enthusiasm and professionalism when asked to prepare and participate in our educational conferences and workshops. I am greatly appreciative of their service and look forward to working with the training staff at Loma Linda in years to come.”
