The School of Public Health is proud to maintain full accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The School is also a member of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH).
The School has maintained continuous accreditation since its inception in 1967 by the American Public Health Association and is currently accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.
Why choose a CEPH accredited school?
The Council on Education for Public Health is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs outside schools of public health.
CEPH accredited schools provide high quality education to future public health professionals. This accreditation assures the general public and potential employers that graduates have completed a rigorous program that maintains a high level of integrity in the public health community. Loma Linda University School of Public Health is pleased to have maintained CEPH accreditation for 47 years. View our self study report.
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges accredits institutions that meet or exceed their high standards of quality and effective education. Loma Linda University and the School of Public Health are proud to also have the professional accreditation from WASC that focuses on the specific programs of LLU-SPH.
About the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health
The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health is a member organization for leading public health universities. ASPPH members agree to offer depth and expertise in all areas. Non-member schools or programs are not bound by that higher standard. LLU SPH is pleased to be a member of ASPPH.
